Head Coach: Ryan Vesce
Ryan Vesce brings 14 years of professional hockey experience and served as Captain of Cornell University’s hockey team during the 2004 season. Throughout his playing career, Ryan was known for his leadership, hockey IQ, and commitment to doing the details right—traits that now define his approach behind the bench.
For the past seven years, Ryan has been the CEO of Matterhorn Fit and led on-ice development, working with over 100 professional hockey players along with many NCAA, junior and youth players. His development philosophy centers on building strong habits, decision-making, and confidence with the puck, while helping players understand why they do what they do on the ice.
Ryan brings a true developmental mindset to coaching, prioritizing long-term growth over short-term results. He emphasizes accountability, team-first culture, and teaching players how to think the game, compete the right way, and lead through action. His goal is to help young athletes not only become better hockey players, but to use the lessons from the sport to develop life habits.
